HARAMBEE STARS FRIENDLY VS TAIFA STARS CANCELLED

Photo courtesy (Facebook) The international friendly match between Kenya's national team Harambee Stars against Tanzanian Taifa stars that was scheduled to be played at 3 pm EAT has been cancelled. The match was cancelled after Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli  succumbed to heart complications yesterday evening. In a tweet from Kenyan Football Federation Chair Nick Mwendwa all but confirmed the cancellation in respect to the death of their President. In the reverse fixture played last week,Harambee Stars came out winners 2-1 thanks to goals in either halves  from Erick Kapaito and Abdalla Hassan.Kenya are preparing for international matches against African giants Egypt at home and Togo away and the friendlies would play a big role in Ghost Mulee's squad selections. Simba Sc Cruise to CAF champions league quarters

Mozambique sensation Luis Miquissone opened the scoring in the 18' minute to put the reds ahead after pouncing on a loose ball.  Miquissone goal. Notably Simba were dealt a blow after there on form center back,Kenyan Joash Onyango was subbed off due to an injury. Modric extends stay in Madrid

Photo courtesy fb (Luka Modric) Luka Modric has committed his future to Real Madrid for a further one year.News from major outlets have now confirmed that Tha Croatian international signed putting down speculationa that he was to join Serie A leaders Inter Milan. A quote from renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano read "The extension of Luka Modric’s contract with Real Madrid is done and it’s not in question. The agreement has been in place since January for one more year of contract. It's just a matter of time for the official announcement. Modric is definitely staying".
